Take You Higher (Club Mix) – Goodwill & Hook N Sling
This is what remixing is all about – taking a song from a different genre and putting a good beat over it. Goodwill & Hook N Sling did a textbook execution in terms of laying the bassline carefully over the curves of the original; matching the emotion and dynamics without overpowering it with electronic synths. They managed to preserve the original classic “Big Jet Plane” by Angus And Julia Stone but elevated it into something you can dance to.
