D-WHY just dropped a new song off of his Tumblr. Now, previously we had featured him in his Gambino cover of “Freaks and Geeks” called “Shooter McGavin”. If you haven’t seen that check it out here right now before you do anything else! “Wind Blows” has a nice uplifting vibe with some solid verses. His new tape, Don’t Flatter Yourself, should be out soon hopefully. Show him support by liking his Facebook, following him on twitter and checking out d-why.com

Ne-Yo, T-Pain & Trey Songz teamed up on this dope instrumental and made a great track out of it. I personally like this track and the beat behind all the verses. A hip-hop track about falling in love with strippers definitely has the possibility of becoming a classic. Listen, Download, & Share.
If there’s one indie band you should have at least heard of by now, it’s Arctic Monkeys. The English indie rock band has been making awesome music since 2002, and their album “Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not” (2006) was one of the best rock albums of the past decade. This is the official video for Suck It And See, off of Arctic Monkey’s new album of the same name.
Neon Indian is an indie electronic band from Texas, whose music is written by Alan Palomo. Rolling Stone named Neon Indian one of the best new bands of 2010. Polish Girl is awesome. I’ve been listening to it on repeat for the past hour or so. Neon Indian’s sound is a lot like Crystal Castles; if you’re a fan of Crystal Castles or any other electronic music you should definitely give Neon Indian a listen. Neon Indian’s released 3 albums: Psychic Chasms in 2009, Mind Control: Psychic Chasms Possessed in 2010, and they just recently released Era Extrana on September 13th. Buy Era Extrana and support good music!

This song was featured back when our site was on webs, but all of our old summer posts were never transferred to WordPress. This one is worth the listen.

“She was a genuine person. She was like real,” said Nas about Amy last month on BET’s 106 & Park. “She was struggling with a lot of things in her life, but she was a real artist. She was like a little sister to me. We had the same birthday so she just had this big, big spirit for this little body. I wish she was here today. God bless her soul.”
