Snoop Dogg – ‘Weed Wars’
Discovery Channel is coming out with a new show called Weed Wars and it’s really no surprise that they had Snoop Dogg record this track for the theme song of the show. Snoop Dogg was the original pothead before Wiz came around. I want to take a second to also talk about the show because that deserves some spotlight as well. Weed Wars isn’t about opinions or legalization debates – this is the first time a weekly series takes an up close and personal look at the reality of running a controversial medicinal cannabis business.
“Weed Wars fearlessly pulls back the curtain on a once illegal and still controversial world,” said Nancy Daniels, executive vice president of production and development for Discovery Channel. “From the inner workings of the business to Steve’s distinctive leadership style, Weed Wars is a fascinating glimpse into this highly unique setting,”
The show centers on the daily issues faced by Oakland’s Harborside Health Center. You can tune in to Discover channel on Thursday, Dec. 1, but until then, you can hear Snoop’s theme song right here below.
