John Dahlback – Life

The talented Swede officially released this huge track earlier today. After Dahlback’s release of his hit single “Blink” four years ago, he has been prominent in the EDM scene. “Life” truly puts Dahlback’s talent on display. Check out the track below and buy it on Beatport!

Dangeroso- YesGoodMusicFeburary12 (Hour Long Mix)

Danger performing at Lavo in NYC
YesGoodMusic’s resident DJ has been doing big things recently. Last week Dangeroso was blessed to perform in the same DJ booth that has held the likes of Avicii, Kaskade, Dada Life, Thomas Gold, Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki and many more great DJs. Sunday, February 19th, Dangeroso performed alongside DjRekwest at one of NYC’s most popular nightclubs, Lavo. Although I was not in attendance, I’m sure our boy Danger killed it. Now back to the reason for this post, Greg dropped off his monthly hour YesGood mix today. Hit the jump to read what he had to say about it and stream/dl the mix.
Macchiato Music – D-Why
Looking like he just came straight form a J-Crew photo shoot, D-Why hits us with his newest single ‘Macchiato Music’ from his upcoming mixtape “Don’t Flatter Yourself”. He also delivers a visual aid in collaboration with Rex Arrow Films as he explores Venice, Italy (talk about class). It’s really no secret why this guy’s a hit with the females, he even makes a ‘Sex and the City’ reference. Bitches love Sex and the City.
Need a girl who acts like Charlotte
Works like Miranda
Dresses like Carrie
Fucks like Samantha
If this is the first time you’ve heard D-Why, you’ve gotta check out the song that originally put him in the spotlight.
sleveL – George Monev Edit (Levels – Avicii)

George Monev, I applaud thee. Very avant garde if I may say so. George brilliantly reverse the chorus of Avicii’s Levels. Now I’m not sure if you’ve heard of this kid yet, but my predictions; he’s going to blow up and spread across the globe to the forefront of the EDM scene. Just a guess. There’s also a chance that a few more remixes of this soon-to-be hit song will surface.
J. Cole- “Grew Up Fast”

J. Cole dropped this track for the fans after hitting 2 million fans on Twitter. Missed this one last week, well it is still definitely worth checking out below. Canei Finch handled the production and sampled a classic 60s track entitled ”The Double Cross”. Don’t sleep on this one.

Album Stream: Fun. – “Some Nights”
Now that it has been around a week since the release of fun’s sophomore album, Some Nights, we have heard mixed reviews on the album. By now everyone knows Fun’s viral single “We Are Young” featuring one of my favorite pop singers, Janelle Monae. Some Nights may have a lot of autotune, but all I have to say about the album is that it is fun. The indie pop band may not have stuck to their roots on this one, but quite honestly, most listeners of Some Nights were not lucky enough to hear Fun’s debut, Aim and Ignite. A majority were probably reeled in by “We Are Young” and there is nothing wrong with that. After that Super Bowl commercial, the #1 iTunes song spot has been on lock. I can’t speak much for the album since I just bought it the other day and my mac is at the apple store since my screen cracked, but I can say you should give it a chance and stream the full album below. If you like what you hear be sure to buy Some Nights on iTunes here and more importantly check out their debut album Aim and Ignite here.
