Perrion- ‘From Paris With Love’ Mixtape
From Paris With Love is Perrion’s 4th mixtape, working with producer Myth Syzer on this one. I’ve been following Perrion since I saw his video for “Rambling”, which is already 2 mixtapes ago, on Le Bourgeon. Perrion has proved to be consistently on his grind; the mixtape prior to this one, Circuit Breaker, was just released back in November. Releasing 2 dope mixtape mixtapes only 3 months apart shows a motivation for success that you rarely see. From Paris With Love really shows Perrion’s progression as a rapper, especially in his lyrics. I really enjoyed listening to it all the way from start to finish, the guys talented and definitely here to stay. Perrion collabs with A$AP Ferg of the A$AP Mob, and even Young Money’s Jae Millz on this tape. Ingrosso and Alesso’s hit “Calling” was one of the best EDM tracks last year. The synth driven track has been played by DJs all over the world, showing why the Swedes are at the upper echelon of DJs today. They decided to create a vocal mix featuring One Republic’s Ryan Tedder, which has garnered a lot of well deserved attention.
