MGK- “Hated” (Faded Freestyle)
MGK took on the “Faded” instrumental and killed it. Kelly mentions his haters and flows nicely over the popular beat. Poor sound quality though, so I’d stay away from the download if I were you. Still worth the listen. Est 4 LIFE. MGK killed his short set at the XXL Freshmen showcase in NYC the other day, if you missed it read Rolling Stones review on the show here.

D-Why- “I’m Here Now”
D-WHY raps over an instrumental by the talented electronic dance music duo, Ratatat. D-WHY serves justice over the “Drugs” beat addressing how he is here to stay and by proving how he is “a mix of your favorite rappers”. The “young Clint Eastwood” has impressed me with all of his recent releases, I’m looking forward to his upcoming project Don’t Flatter Yourself.
