Travi$ Scott is a 20 year old artist/ producer from Houston, Texas and went in with T.I. on his new joint. This one is called “Animal” and Travi$ handles the production. Although the Kanye influence is evident, Travi$ still proves to be versatile with his verses and sample. Scott is up next, look out for his upcoming project, Owl Pharaoh EP, coming out soon.

It’s been around six months since the release of J. Cole’s major label debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story. The critically acclaimed album exceeded my expectations and I believe is still being slept on. Cole dropped the official visual to one of the stand out joints on the album entitled “Sideline Story”. The video was just released four days ago and has already almost reached a million views. Watch the visual above and download the track below if you don’t have it. Cop Cole World: The Sideline Story today.

Hoodie Allen released his sophomore EP last week entitled All American. He dropped Bagels and Beats (his debut EP), back in 2009 through iTunes, but All American was really Hoodie Allen’s breakthrough project. With 8 tracks featuring original production, catchy choruses, and solid verses by the LI native, Hoodie Allen delivered his best work thus far. Hoodie Allen really shocked the people when he hit that number 1 spot on iTunes and managed to stay their for more than just one day. How’d he do this? Read on to find out and stream/buy the EP after the jump.
Childish Gambino brought out Kendrick Lamar and Danny Brown during his live set at Coachella. Gambino performs “You Know Me” above and then brings out K. Dot for a so called remix, but it happens to be Kendrick’s verse from “Look Out For Detox”. After performing this “You Know Me” remix, Danny Brown appears on stage to perform his bonus track “Witit” off of XXX. The footage is courtesy of RD. If you don’t have any of these tracks hit the jump to stream/download “You Know Me” by Gambino, “Look Out For Detox” by Lamar, and lastly “Witit” by Brown.
I’ve been waiting on this collab for a some time now and let me be the first to tell you that the NY natives delivered. “Big Spender” lives up to the hype and I believe it surpasses it. With a sick Shirley Bassey sample from DJ Carnage and great verse from Rocky and London, “Big Spender” is a must listen. This track will reside on Theophilus London’s upcoming project Rose Island that will be released on May 20th. Also check back on Monday for Rocky’s new single entitled “Goldie” prod. by G.O.O.D. Music’s recent signee Hit-Boy.
