Soundgarden released their first new song since they broke up around 15 years ago and it was recorded for the new Transformers: Avengers soundtrack..The grunge rock band were approached to deliver a track for the film. They started from scratch and ended up creating “Live To Rise”. Chris Cornell proved how he is still one of the most prominent figures in the Rock music industry. And his original band, Soundgarden is back. It almost sounds as if they never left, the so called “originators of grunge” are back from where they left off in 1997. Get “Live To Rise” for free on iTunes here for the week or check it out below.

Indie band Chester French brings us a new video for their super-catchy song “Black Girls,” sharing with the world their “unabashed, hard-hitting celebration of feminine beauty and interracial love.”
Mac Miller linked up with Spitta for his new joint. I’ll be listening to this “Cold” track throughout the summer. Chuck Inglish handled the production. Macolm will also be touring this summer with Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, and Chevy Woods for the “Under The Influence” tour. Hit the jump for the tour dates and ticket info. I also included the presale code after the jump to cop tickets tomorrow morning at 10am EST rather than friday. And yes, they are stopping at the legendary Nikon Jones Beach amphitheater in NY hah. Don’t miss out on these tickets or else you’re going to have to ask your parents for more money to get the resold stubhub tickets *cough cough* set. Tickets for the general sale go up at 4:20pm on 4/20. Enjoy the track and remember stay “under the influence”..
