Music Video: ASAP Rocky- Brand New Guy (feat. ScHoolboy Q)

ASAP Rocky dropped the music video for his second collaboration with Q.  Although this track was released back in October, this video makes it sound as good as new again.  Another dope music video from Schoolboy and Rocky.  Hopefully we will see more new music from TDE x ASAP in the future.

Curren$y- The Stoned Immaculate (Full Album Stream)

I can completely understand if you can’t get into Curren$y, but you can’t deny that he has a good work ethic and he is very consistent.  All of his releases stay true to his sound and and he does not disappoint often.  Spitta recruited Pharrell, 2 Chainz, Wale, Wiz Khalifa, Big K.R.I.T., and more for what turned out to be another dope album.  Although the weed rapper has a lot of music under his belt, in his interview with HipHopDX, when talking about The Stoned Immaculate he said, ”This is my first real studio album. I put out retail projects, but this is my first real studio album.”

Stream the full LP after the jump and pre-order it here.  The Stoned Immaculate will be in stores June 5th.

Avicii Plays New ID Track at Summerburst

Avicii played this new track at Summerburst in Gothenburg (in his native country Sweden). I wouldn’t say it’s his best track but it is definitely solid. Avicii’s work ethic continues to impress me. He continues to make new music while touring all over the world. I definitely appreciate the work he has put into making new tracks. Check out the track above and thanks to Beat My Day for the footage!

Knife Party- ‘Rage Valley’

The electro house/dubstep duo is back with another great EP. This time they released their new EP through Beatport, so make sure to show them support by copping it and download their debut EP, 100% No Modern Talking if you haven’t already.  ’Rage Valley’, the title track off the new project drops hard into the bass and is made especially for all you electro heads.  The build ups and bass heavy drops make for a must a listen.  Check out the rest of Rage Valley on Beatport and stream the title track below.

Ellie Goulding – High For This (The Weeknd Cover)

Better late than never. Chiddy Bangs own, Xaphoon Jones handles production on this great cover of The Weeknd’s classic “High For This”.  Ellie Goulding’s vocals fit the interesting beat well and reassure why she is an artist you should keep an eye on in the future or actually right now ha.  Her debut album from 2010 and hit single “Lights” have been keeping Goulding relevant.  She keeps selling records. Definitely a unique cover by two very talented artists.  Download/stream below and enjoy!
