Adele – “Skyfall”
Adele’s newest single dropped today at 7:07, “Skyfall”. This song will be the theme song for the new James Bond movie. This is Adele’s most recent work since her hit album 21 and her pregnancy announcement. The song is breathtaking, starting with a foreshadowing of the energy to come with a brass section which slowly quiets into melodic piano play. Adele’s beautiful vocals come in, shortly thereafter the faint sound of percussion play comes as well as a slow crescendo. This slow buildup continues until the song bursts into passionate energy.
