One of my favorites off ‘Goblin’ and now we got the video for it. This is the third music video off of ‘Goblin’ and every single video has been direct by Wolf Haley himself. Jasper Dolphin has to be the funniest of the Odd Future group. ofwgkta. Golf Wang. Don’t Give a Fuck. Hit us up to sign up for ‘Jasper Dolphins Workout.’
This is Jay Electronica rapping on his own produced beats. This song was only finished hours ago and now we have it. Give this a listen, it lived up to its hype. Oh and buy COD: MW 3
I feel bad for the next guy
And the next guy…and the next guy
‘Cause she will take your shoulder and lean on it
But take your heart and throw kerosene on it
Let me start off by saying this video hasn’t hit almost 40,000 views on YouTube for nothing. I think every guy can somewhat relate to this song - you can really feel the emotion in his voice and the hook sends shivers down my spine. The visuals to accompany the music video adds to the chill vibe. Ryan Kellie adds the perfect verse, while Kenton Dunson flows nicely over the beat. It’s about life and heartbreak – these notions strike a chord with every listener and because of this, the track continues to grow in support with the help of live shows, independent radio, DJs and most importantly the music blogs that aren’t afraid to support the relatively unknown artist. I don’t know what it is about today that’s putting me in the mood to listen to emotional songs, but anyways, thanks Jess Jonhson for sending the video over. Hit the jump for the lyrics or to read more about Kenton Dunson and download his most recent project “Creative Destruction 2″.
Indie rockers Phoenix are releasing From The Mess To The Masses, a documentary showcasing their immediate success from their debut album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. I didn’t think Phoenix had a very unique story…but I guess we’ll see when the full documentary releases. A United States release date has not yet been announced, but it set to air on TV in France & Germany on October 13th. Check out the trailer below.
For those of you unfamiliar with Phoenix, check out some songs from Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix:
Doctor P’s remix of “Last One Standing” has been on repeat on my iTunes recently and although its a couple of months old, I feel like I couldn’t just skip over posting this. I saw Doctor P live this summer, where Flux Pavilion opened and Doctor P surprised us all with his crazy bass heavy set. From that day on, I always tried to get as many Doctor P songs on my iTunes and when I passed by this one, I thought it was needed in your iPod if you are a dubstep head.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve definitely been sick of hearing this song on the radio. Alesso really changed up this song, making it listenable again and proving why Alesso is one of my new favorite DJs. I feel like I will never get sick of his remix to “Good Love” and “Pressure“. Alesso is killing it and his recent collaboration “Calling” with Sebastian Ingrosso from SHM just proves that. PRA Remix spotted at gmad.
With their upcoming album Audio, Video, Disco coming October 25th, we get to hear two new songs off of it. OnethirtyBPM came through with these new ones. Check out Justice’s last two singles “Audio, Video, Disco” and “Helix“. October 25th needs to come faster!
50s my favorite. This is another track that’s a part of the Street King movement. Looking forward to that album release, which is supposed to be November. Sign up on StreetKing
