David Guetta feat. Usher- ‘Without You’ (Official Music Video)

Hey guys, Justin here. I’m going to rant a little bit today, but bear with me because I think this music video is pretty powerful. Here at YGM, all the bloggers are music zealots; we’re obsessed. But as I’m writing essays and discovering how to vocalize my passion for music, this video sparked an epiphany. I love music because of it’s power – it existed before language, yet it is above and beyond all words. It’s always been an enigma to me – modern research has shown the rhythm and pitch can be explained using physics and mathematics, yet no one can explain why music elicits such powerful emotions. Sorry if I’m over-analyzing here, but I think Guetta and Usher are trying to convey something deeper and more meaningful than a party on the beach. In a world of diversity where clashing values are common, music breaks language barriers and brings together people of diverse cultural backgrounds.  All the continents merge at the end to form one landmass, a symbol of the uniting force of music.

This is of my favorites off of Guetta’s album Nothing But The Beat.  David Guetta’s music videos always entertain me.  If you’ve never downloaded this track, you can still get it below.
