Common – The Next Chapter (Still Love H.E.R.)

common-the-next-chapter

Common releases the sequel to his ’90s classic “I Used to Love H.E.R?” and it is surprisingly impressive. “The Next Chapter” still has ’90s rap vibe and features great verses from the G.O.O.D. Music rapper. Brooklyn native, J.Period, handles the production on “The Next Chapter” and the DJ/producer samples Portishead’s “Sour Times.” This new single will be featured on J.Period’s upcoming album, Rage Is Back, due out February 12th.

Game feat. Kanye West & Common – Jesus Piece

With the release of Game’s new album, Jesus Piece, around the corner, the title track hit the web.  Once again Kanye West only handles the chorus on “Jesus Piece.”  Game kills his two verses and Common does his thing on the final verse as well.   Boi-1da and The Maven Boys did a great job on the production making this one of the standout track off of Game’s upcoming project.

Video: G.O.O.D. Music Made In America Festival Performance

Jay-Z brought out a little special guest towards the end of his set at his new festival in Philly, Made In America.  Jay surprised the crowd by bringing out most of the G.O.O.D. Music crew and having them run through multiple popular tracks.  The talented group performed “New God Flow”, “Mercy”, Kanye’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing”, Sean’s “A$$” and more.  The set went for a solid 30 minutes and is most definitely a must watch.  Originally when Kanye showed up on stage, the youtube stream got really laggy since almost 100,000 people went over to youtube to catch ‘Ye.  Jay-Z successfully curated a festival and delivered a great performance.  Next up is Pearl Jam tomorrow.  Watch the video of G.O.O.D. Music’s performance below.

Common- “No Sell Out”

N0 I.D. treated his fans with a new unreleased Common joint today entitled “No Sell Out.”  Common spits some hard verses over this piano backed beat.  This track sounds like it was recorded a couple of years ago considering Com’s voice, but nonetheless it turned out to be dope.  The beat isn’t for everyone though.

Pusha T – Sweet (Freestyle)

Pusha T hoped on Common’s ‘Sweet’ and laid a few bars. It’s pretty clear that this is a Drake diss track. Pusha makes the best freestyles and you can’t even deny it. Give it a go.
