Cris Cab ft. Mike Posner – “Colors”

Cris Cab linked up with Mike Posner for a new relaxing and radio friendly track entitled “Colors.” This may just be Cris Cab’s breakthrough in the music industry. We are definitely rooting for him. Cris Cab’s recent efforts have been consistent and uplifting. Look out for Cris Cab’s forthcoming mixtape, Red Road, due out April 16. Music Video: Cris Cab – “Heaven”

Cris Cab let go the official visual to his latest single, “Heaven.” “Heaven” will be featured on Cris Cab’s upcoming mixtape Red Road due out April 1st. Heaven has a laid back vibe as do most of Cris Cab’s tracks and features an acoustic guitar, some trippy synths, and great vocals by the up & comer. Cris Cab definitely knows how to make feel good music. His reggae influence vocals work well over the chill instrumental. Watch the music video and download “Heaven” below.
Cris Cab ft. The Green – “The Fire”

Cris Cab premiered his new single featuring The Green on the Hawaiin radio station Island 98.5. The reggae influenced track definitely has a feel good vibe. “The Fire” is produced by Brent Paschke, Cris Cab, and PJ McGinnis.
Cris Cab- “Face to Face”

Cris Cab unleashes his new single entitled “Face to Face” and if you are a big fan you may recognize this one. On Cris Cab’s latest tape, Echo Boom a snippet of “Face to Face” was included and it really showed the tracks potential. Cab delivered on his new single and it truly impresses me how he keeps releasing quality music. Cab’s new EP drops October 9th.
Cris Cab- “Paradise (On Earth)”

Cris Cab is back with a new release entitled “Paradise (On Earth).” This new single gives us a glimpse of what we will be hearing on Cab’s upcoming EP, RISE, due out October 9. Malay, the same producer who helped out on Frank Ocean’s debut, handles the production on “Paradise” and Cab delivers great vocals as always. Summer is not over, yet.

Upon my first listen of Cris Cab’s mixtape Echo Boom, I was shocked at the amount of talent Cris Cab had. This collaboration with Big Sean was released back in June, which makes sense considering its undeniable summer feel. Co-written by Pharrell (Cab’s mentor) and produced by Wyclef Jean, “Good Girls” has a reggae feel and is an amazing tune. Big Sean has a great verse on the track as well (Download his newest mixtape Detroit). Check out the official music video for the track below.
Cris Cab- “If You Only Had Today”

Cris Cab let go a new track to hold over his fans before his next project is released. Cab performed at Santos Party House in NYC recently, you can check out the official footage from that show here. Couldn’t make it since I was away, but I have to see him next time he is in the area. This summer his music has been on repeat, especially his latest effort, Echo Boom. His new track delivers and it has that same laid back summer feel as his past work. Listen/download the single below.

Mercury Records signee, Cris Cab has dropped his debut single “Good Girls” featuring Big Sean. This single is co-written by Pharrell and produced by Wyclef Jean. “Good Girls” was featured on Cab’s debut EP Forward, but Cris made some edits and got Sean Don spitting on the track. This will most definitely be on my summer playlists. Cris Cab dropped his latest mixtape, Echo Boom, back in January and it received a great reception. The BBC hosted and highly anticipated new Cris Cab mixtape Echo Boom is officially out. Echo Boom consists of 12 original tracks with features and production by Pharrell, Wyclef, Melanie Fiona, 88-Keys, Supa Dups, and more. The 18 year old Miami native is really taking off, swiftly gaining momentum this year after his cover of Black and Yellow. In case you’ve never heard of him, his music is like a crazy infusion of Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, and Sublime with a heavy influence from hip-hop. It really makes for a good kick-back-and-relax feel, perfect for a day at the beach.
