Free EP: J. Cole “Truly Yours”
J. Cole delivered a five track free EP out of the blue recently through his dreamvillain blog. The project, Truly Yours, features records that will be left off of his upcoming album, Born Sinner. Cole tells vivid stories throughout his new EP over chill production. J. Cole will be releasing the first official single off of his new album next week. Truly Yours will most definitely hold me over until the release of his single and sophomore album. Read what J. Cole had to say about the project and stream/download Truly Yours after the jump.
Remix: Kendrick Lamar- “Swimming Pools (At Dawn We Rage Edit)”
I’m generally not a fan of any trap music, but this particular remix really caught my attention. At Dawn We Rage executes what I would consider a perfect trap remix here; the end result is something I would actually play at parties over the original version. They do a great job of keeping most of the main track intact while just adding extra synths and percussion. Check it out below.
Free EP: Archie “B*A*M*F”
After just releasing a free download last month, the Russian producer is back with a new two song EP titled “B*A*M*F.” The first track off of the project, “No Chaser”, is a bit repetitive with a more Deadmau5-esque sound than usual while the second track, “Lapdance” stays true to Archie’s original sound and features melodic synths and a solid buildup. The bass heavy drop is also a nice edition to the already catchy tune. Download the free EP over on Archie’s facebook and stream the two tracks below.
Free Download: Vicetone – Twenty
Upcoming DJ/Producer duo Vicetone from the Netherlands has created a stunning, new original track named “Twenty”. The beginning of the song leads one to believe that it is a melodic progressive house track, but as it continues through the build up there is a nice, fat and greasy electro house beat. Vicetone definitely has their own style that one can hear in their songs so its nice to see someone NOT jumping on the bandwagon.
Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman – Roll The Dice (Preview)
Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman are back! This duo from Stockholm is legit. Their recent remix of Coldplay’s hit “The Scientist” was superb and they have other great tracks such as their remixes of Dinka’s “Reach For Me”, Tove Styrke’s “Call My Name”, and Mikael Weermets & Audible’s “Free.” Please show them some support! They have tons of talent and they deserve the recognition! Check out the preview of their latest track “Roll the Dice” below. ”Roll the Dice” will be available for purchase on February 9th.
Thank you to Dimitri Vangelis for the submission! You guys are awesome and we will continue to support you here at YGM!

Curren$y- “Ways To Kill Em” (Music Video)
Curren$y decided to drop the visuals off of one of my favorites on Verde Terrace. I actually missed Curren$y tweet about the video, but I ended up seeing it under the United States Trends on Twitter. The video is produced by Dope Ent. You can download the track below if you never ended up getting the tape.

Bruno Mars- “It Will Rain”
The release of Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 is coming up on November 18th and it’s none other than Bruno Mars providing the first single from the Soundtrack of the film. Listen to his solid as ever vocals on ‘It Will Rain’.
Theophilus London- “I Stand Alone” (Gigamesh Sunlight rmx) & (Ocelot rmx)
To be quite honest, I just heard the original version of “I Stand Alone” on that How To Make It In America Mixtape Vol 2 and I loved it!! After doing some research I found two totally different, but great remixes of Theophilus London popular track “I Stand Alone”. The Gigamesh Sunlight Remix that I found over on 2dopeboyz has a more chill vibe to it rather the the Ocelot Remix. Gigamesh Remixes are always dope, so I highly recommend checking that one out if you want to hear something cool and different. Now the second remix I have for you today is the Ocelot Remix. Let me first say that this remix COMPLETELY differs from the Gigamesh Sunlight one, but still is nice. In the Ocelot Remix (courtesy of Skeetbeatz), the vocals are slowed down, but a lot of drum and bass are added and some dubstep is also included (surprisingly goes nicely with the slowed down vocals). This is a more fun remix that may appeal to different people. Although this song has been out for a while now, I just stumbled upon it tonight so I included the original version of “I Stand Below” below the remixes. I also included the official music video after the jump. All downloads are direct in this post.

Heart’s All Gone- Blink 182
This track came out around 2 weeks ago, but I just stumbled on it tonight. I like it a little more then “Up All Night”. ”Heart’s All Gone” will be a bonus track on Blink’s new album Neighborhood.
