Daft Punk ft. Pharrell & Nile Rodgers — “Get Lucky”
Daft Punk’s new single, “Get Lucky,” is finally here and it features vocals from Pharrell Williams and guitar work from Nile Rodgers. For now all we have is the radio edit, but we will update you when the extended album version drops. Daft Punk’s new single, “Get Lucky,” is everything I imagined plus more. The smooth vocals from Pharrell over mellow guitar chords by Nile Rodgers make this one a classic. Let’s not forget the classic Daft Punk production that features a funky electronic “Get Lucky” sample during breaks and a simple drum beat with some synth play. Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” will be featured on the popular duo’s forthcoming and highly anticipated album, Random Access Memories, due out May 21.

Kid Cudi’s highly anticipated new album, INDICUD, sprung a leak today and rather than getting mad, Kid Cudi embraced the leak. He even went as far as spreading a link to one of the standout tracks on the project featuring Kendrick Lamar titled “Solo Dolo Pt. 2″ so we thought we’d throw up a stream as well. The line up consists of some of the biggest DJs in the industry including but not limited to Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Eric Prydz, Steve Angello, Porter Robinson, Dash Berlin, Carl Cox, Arty, Thomas Gold, and Nervo. The legendary French duo, Daft Punk, is officially releasing their highly anticipated new album, Random Access Memories, on May 21st. The artwork above is the album cover for Random Access Memories. You can pre-order Daft Punk’s forthcoming album, Random Access Memories, on iTunes right now. For now, listen to the 15 second Daft Punk ad that was premiered during SNL and listen to The Hood Internet’s smooth mash-up between the new commercial track and Justin Timberlake’s hit single, “Suit & Tie.” Look out for Random Access Memories on May 21st through Daft Life Ltd under Columbia Records. Weezy decided to let go a new track titled “Rich As F***k” featuring 2 Chainz. Lupe Fiasco – “Light Blue”
Lupe Fiasco dropped a new track last week entitled “Light Blue.” DJ SimonSayz & B-Sides created a trippy sounding beat on “Light Blue” with drums and droning tones. Hit up RapGenius to dissect Lupe’s ill lyrics on “Light Blue.”
“My youth sound just like lightning coming down,” Lu raps on the hook.

Earl Sweatshirt dropped his debut single, “WHOA,” to his highly anticipated upcoming album, Doris. Tyler, The Creates both handles the production and spits a verse on Earl’s new single, “WHOA.” The music video that was release to coincide with the single shows Earl living with a ballerina in a trailer park. Yelawolf ft. ASAP Rocky & Big Henry – Gangster
Alabama native Yelawolf linked up with Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky for a new joint entitled “Gangster.” The Shady Records rapper, Yelawolf, will be releasing his mixtape Trunk Muzik Returns on March 14th. “Gangster” will reside on that project. Cris Cab let go the official visual to his latest single, “Heaven.” “Heaven” will be featured on Cris Cab’s upcoming mixtape Red Road due out April 1st. Heaven has a laid back vibe as do most of Cris Cab’s tracks and features an acoustic guitar, some trippy synths, and great vocals by the up & comer.
