Aylen – 30K Fan Mix

aylen 30 k mix

In celebration of hitting 30,000 fans on facebook, YGM favorite Aylen let go a killer 30 minute mix filled with exclusives. Throw this mix on your iPod immediately as it will certainly get people going at your next party. Aylen’s transitions are smooth throughout the 30 minute experience and his unreleased bootlegs are impressive. He leans more towards the trap trend in this mix with a lot of breakdowns and a heavy use of 808s. Aylen also drops some progressive house and ends off the 30k mix with a brand new uplifting ID that will hopefully see the light of day soon. Go Like Aylen on facebook right now and stream/download his 30 minute mix below. Hit the jump to peep the track list.

Mixtape: 3LAU “Dance Floor Filth 2″

3LAU released his highly anticipated new bootleg tape consisting of 12 mash-ups.  You may recognize most of the mixes on this tape considering Justin dropped a good amount of them in the past and most of the vocals are from radio hits. While listening to this tape I didn’t get as hyped as I did when listened to 3LAU’s first Dance Floor Filth mixtape. All of the mash-ups sound good, but on a couple I feel as if I’d rather listen to the original track. That may just be because I have been listening to more EDM recently and my standards have risen.  You can’t really tell that these mash-ups are created by Justin since they are pretty generic, but they are still well crafted mash-ups.

3LAU still was able to create a couple of gems on this project including “Action”, “Guilty Pleasure”, & “Petty Language”.  ”Petty Language” may just be the best “Call Me Maybe” mash-up as womplife said in their review.  They nailed it so be sure to check out their review of Dance Floor Filth 2. Although I may not be to fond of Justin latest, I’m sure he has a lot to offer on the production side in the future.  Listen to the tape below and give it a dl.

Mashup Submissions: “Swagfire”, “Pressure To Love You” & “The Masterpiece Drop”

I thought why not go through our mash-up submissions from the last couple of days and make one combined post rather than separate ones for my favorites mixes.

First we have DJ Eli‘s mashup entitled ‘Swagfire’ that incorporates Eminem/Wu Tang/B.o.B./Haley Williams Vs Porter Robinson Vs Kill the Noise. Eli is a NY based DJ who gained a foundation in music at age of 3. I recommend listening to this mash if you are into Dubstep fused with rap.

The second mash-up I have for you today is by Doug Bogan. This uses the vocals from ‘Tonight (I’m Loving You)’, ‘In The Dark’, ‘We R Who We R’, ‘Till The World Ends’, and ‘Break Your Heart’ over the instrumental of Alesso’s hit remix ‘Pressure’.

Lastly, I have ‘The Masterpiece Drop’ for you guys. In this mash-up, DJ Massakerr mixes Philip D & TLB’s track ‘Over You’, 50s hit ‘In Da Club’, Afrojacks sick remix to Imogen Heaps ‘Hide & Seek’, Chuckie’s mix ‘Let The Bass Kick In Miami Beach’, The Almost’s track “Hands’, Marianas Trench’s ‘Masterpiece Theatre, PT. 3, and lastly Timbaland’s hit ‘Drop’. Simple is better sometimes, but I can’t deny that I enjoyed this mash-up.
