Singer, actress, and high school student, Amelia Scaramucci covered the ever so popular radio hit “Don’t You Worry Child.” Amelia sings the chorus and short verse over a laid back piano and guitar instrumental thus highlighting her vocal range. Her remake of the the platinum single is refreshing and most definitely a good effort. Overall, her vocals are very impressive. Amelia used her canon camera to capture the visual and recorded the song with a Yeti mic in garageband. She then put together the video simply through iMovie proving that you don’t need a professional application to showcase your talent. It was the first time she had done something like this so it is not perfect. Hopefully this is the first of many song releases from the talented young artist.
Plastic People is an upcoming DJ/Producer duo that specializes in producing dope trap beats. Seriously, these guys run the trap. Anyway, here is an epic remix of Swedish House Mafia’s “Save the World”. I am excited to see what these guys produce next because this group sounds like it could produce festival trap anthems in the near future.
SHM - Save The World (Plastic People Trap Remix)
“Don’t You Worry Child” by Swedish House Mafia is receiving the remix treatment by Tom Staar and Kryder. The two DJ/Producer’s took the instant classic and transformed it from the sweet toned, synth heavy track into a down and dirty nightclub anthem. It’s an interesting take on already amazing song. Personally, I would not have dared to remix a song like this, but Tom Staar & Kryder did a fantastic job on this remix. I will update the post with the download link when it officially releases, until then keep the preview on repeat!
On December 16th, history was made. Swedish House Mafia took on The Garden in NYC and “turned MSG into a night club” as Steve Angello tweeted late Friday night. The Swedish DJs came up with the idea to perform at the legendary Madison Square Garden as a joke, but with the help of alcohol that night, one of the members ended up booking it in late summer (RollingStone).
“Calling” has finally been released on Beatport. Swedish House Mafia dropped this back at the iTunes Festival as their intro. The synths on this track are catchy and Ingrosso proves how he holds his own on SHM through this release.
