Music Video: Big Boi ft. Kelly Rowland “Mama Told Me”
Big Boi released the latest visual from his upcoming project, Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors, titled “Mama Told Me.” The single features Kelly Rowland on the chorus and classic verses from rap heavyweight, Big Boi. “Mama Told Me” originally featured Little Dragon, but due to label clearance that version didn’t end up making the cut and Rowland took Little Dragon’s spot. The music video is very colorful to say the least and features an array of special effects.

New Deadmau5 Album Title, Release Date, Tracklist & Previews
Deadmau5 is releasing a new single and announcing his new album preorder. His new album >album title goes here< is set for release on September 25, with preorder beginning on this upcoming Tuesday, August 14. His new single “Professional Griefers” feat. Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance) is also being released that Tuesday. When I first saw the title in my email, I wasn’t sure if maybe the album title just wan’t announced yet, but knowing Deadmau5 I should have realized >album title goes here< is actually the album title. Especially since his past album titles include Random Album Title and For Lack of a Better Name.
Deadmau5′s tracklist also features some interesting names including Gerard Way (lead singer from My Chemical Romance), Cypress Hill, Imogen Heap, Wolfgang Gartner and Chris James.

Slightly Stoopid- “Top Of The World” & Tracklist
Slightly Stoopid released the title track to their upcoming album, “Top of the World”, due out August 14th. Stoopid’s last studio album dropped back in 2008, so it’ll be interesting to see how the new one shapes up to be. “Top of the World” is a great first single and it reminded me why I love the band. They stayed true to their sound by fusing acoustic rock with reggae. If the album sounds anything like the single we are in for a great project. The 5 time Grammy nominee just announced that he is performing 4 times in NYC for different shows, and now he has officially confirmed that his new EP Bangarang will be released this Friday on Beatport!!! Xaphoon Jones and Chidera’s upcoming debut album has finally got a release date set for February 28th, 2012. The artwork above is the official album cover to Breakfast. 2012 should be a big year for the duo, they have everything going for them. Chiddy Bang has yet to deliver a bad project and is one of my favorite groups in the newschool. The Swelly Express, Air Swell, The Preview, and, Peanut Butter and Swelly are all worth checking out. Swedish House Mafia Live @ Madison Square Garden ~Review, Footage, & Setlist
On December 16th, history was made. Swedish House Mafia took on The Garden in NYC and “turned MSG into a night club” as Steve Angello tweeted late Friday night. The Swedish DJs came up with the idea to perform at the legendary Madison Square Garden as a joke, but with the help of alcohol that night, one of the members ended up booking it in late summer (RollingStone).

I just got back from the SHM show at MSG and I have no words to describe it other than life-changing. As Justin said to me after the concert, “It set the standard for everything else in life”. I can’t really elaborate on that, but tomorrow we will come through with a full detailed review that will be very sentimental (well at least Liao’s part will be). It was amazing watching the whole crowd dance to every song. It’s one thing to be shouting out the words/beats and fist pumping, but on December 16th, 2011, SHM “turned MSG into a night club” as Steve Angello just tweeted.
