Outasight – “Drifting Away” & “Remember Me”

NY artist, Outasight, let go two leftover tracks from his debut album, Nights Like These. “Drifting Away” and “Remember Me” are two solid offerings with laid back vibes. Though poppy, both tracks are worth a listen. “Drifting Away” was produced by Mike Cash while “Remember Me” was produced by DJ Camper. “Drifting Away” is backed by heavy drums and mellow guitar chords. “Remember Me” is a more spacey jam that gives off a sing along vibe though it still remains gloomy during the verses and the breakdown. Stream Outasight’s previously unreleased track “Drifting Away” below and “Remember Me” after the jump.

Beyonce – Bow Down / I Been On

Beyonce let go a new single recently entitled “Bow Down / I Been On.” Hit-Boy handled the trippy “Mr. Nice Watch” sounding instrumental that includes hi-hats, snares, bells, and electric R&B chords . The first half of the song features Beyonce singing over the Hit-Boy beat while the second half features a chopped & screwed sounding Bey. The production on “Bow Down / I Been On” alone makes this single worth a listen. Check it out below.

The Postal Service – “A Tattered Line of String”

The Postal Service let go a new single for the upcoming reissue of their debut and only album, Give Up. “A Tattered Line of String” is the bands first release in the last decade and it still remains true to the synth-pop duo’s sound. The new single is relatively fast paced and upbeat. I remember that exact UPS commercial that sparked my interest in the group years ago and led me on to research and purchase their debut album. Ben Gibbard, the lead singer, is also the vocalist in Death Cab For Cutie so you may recognize his voice on this single if you haven’t heard of the group before. And yes, The Postal Service came way before Owl City. The Give Up reissue is due out on April 9th. Check out The Postal Service’s upcoming tour dates here.
