Lana Del Rey – Summertime Sadness (Hotel Garuda Remix)

Hotel Garuda just recently released their remix of Lana’s “Summertime Sadness”. The upcoming duo, consisting of Manila Killa and an artist occasionally known as Candle Weather, who may also be Trippy Turtle (but most likely isn’t), has been gaining considerable momentum recently since the release of their debut “Rhythm Of The Night” remix. Be sure…

Asher Roth ft. Vic Mensa – “Fast Life”

Asher Roth let loose a new track entitled “Fast Life” featuring Chicago rapper Vic Mensa.  The mellow instrumental is produced by Blended Babies and complements Asher Roth’s message about not taking “time for granted, because it’s so precious,” as he stated in his Speakeasy.  You can watch the video after the jump and stream the Vic Mensa featured track above.

Vaughn PM ft. Karl Jackson- “Grey Flamingo”

Vaughn PM is a NYC based rapper who currently attends Colgate University.  He unleashed a rough version of the second track off his forthcoming project, WA2YML. The single is titled “Grey Flamingo” and features vocals from Karl Jackson.  Vaughn PM delivers two verses over the dark James Blake-esque production.  Look out for more music from Vaughn PM in the coming months.

Strange Talk – “Young Hearts” (The Chainsmokers Remix)

The Chainsmokers are back again after their massive Bastille remix.  This time the NYC duo takes on Strange Talk’s “Young Hearts” and adds their signature progressive house sound.  The upcoming producers delivered as expected with their new release.  Stream their remix to “Young Hearts” above and hit the jump to listen to their remix of Bastille’s “Flaws.”

Madeon – “Cut The Kid”

Popular up & coming producer, Madeon, has been working hard on his debut album. Just today he unleashed a gem entitled “Cut The Kid.” The previously unreleased track was created years ago, but still stays true to his sound with an electrifying beat and interesting samples throughout. Madeon has another strong track to his name with “Cut The Kid.”  Stream the production above.

Fall Out Boy – Thanks For The Memories (Kasum Remix)

Kasum has been on a hot streak in the last few months. Don’t get me wrong, ever since the up-and-coming producer/DJ unleashed his melodic dubstep remix of Smash Mouth’s “All Star” back in July, he’s been a name to watch out for in the electronic scene. But once the sophomore at BU won the spot to open for 3LAU & Carnage through his “Night Riot” mix, Kasum has been watching his dreams come true slowly but surely.  Though early to say, I truly believe Kasum has quite the future ahead of him.  Every remix he has dropped in the last year has been nothing short of greatness.  His dubstep take on these classic throwback tunes both revive the popular tracks and add totally new layers to them. Hit the jump to read on and view footage from Kasum’s set at the House of Blues in Boston.
