Chase & Status — “International” (Skrillex Remix)

Skrillex takes on Chase & Status’s “International” by adding bass heavy wobbles and synths.  He turns the track into a dubstep/trap banger.  Skrillex fuses the two subgenres together to create a remix that sways away from Skrillex’s signature sound, but is sure to receive a lot of love.  We only have the BBC Radio 1 rip to stream for now.  Look out for the CDQ soon.

Stream: Skrillex — Leaving EP

Skrillex is starting off the new year with an eclectic sounding project entitled Leaving EP.  The EP consists of three songs that all have their own unique sound. “The Reason” is an electronic influenced track while “Scary Bolly Dub” stays true to Skrillex’s WUBWUBWUB sounding dubstep drops.  He’s been playing “Scary Bolly Dub” in his sets for ages,…

Ellie Goulding – Bittersweet (Prod. by Skrillex)

Ellie Goulding’s new track “Bittersweet” is off of…gulp…the new twilight films soundtrack. [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=YJVmu6yttiw] Just coming off of winning 3 Grammys, Skrillex released the official music video to “Bangarang”.  Although kids stealing from an ice cream truck isn’t my first thought when hearing the song, I enjoyed the music video.  Can’t go wrong with dubstep and action.  Watch the visual above.

Skrillex- “Good Bye (Original Mix)”

SkrillexMotherShip lets go an exclusive progressive house gem by the grammy winning dubstep DJ.  This track proves how Skrillex can also make laid back progressive tracks rather than just bass heavy dubstep ones.  Oh and congrats to Sonny on the 3 out of 5 Grammys he won.  This was a big year for the EDM industry at…
