Kaskade and Swanky Tunes ft. Lights – No One Knows Who We Are

With a combination of different styles, Kaskade, Swanky Tunes and Lights bring us this collaboration, blending various elements from their unique styles into this track. However, I did not think this combo worked well as it should have and I certainly expected more out of artists of this caliber. Let us know what you think. Check out the track below and buy it on Beatport.

Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso – Calling (R3hab & Swanky Tunes Remix)

“Calling” was one of last year’s biggest hits in EDM. This track really put Ingrosso’s protege, Alesso, on the map. R3hab and Swanky Tunes decided to give this hit their own twist. While the original track is very difficult to top, the Dutch DJ and the rising Russian trio did a very good job making the track their own. Check it out below and buy it on iTunes or Spotify!

Swanky Tunes, Matisse & Sadko – The Legend

I first heard of Matisse & Sadko from my friend who showed me “Hi Scandinavia” a while back. Ever since, the Russian brothers have been rising in the EDM scene. Teaming up with the talented Russian trio Swanky Tunes, they have created quite a track. Look out for the official release (no there hasn’t been an official release yet) of the track “Trio” which features Matisse & Sadko along with Arty. The track has been played by several artists, including Swedish House Mafia at their concert at MSG last month. Make sure you guys keep up with these two Russian groups, they are definitely on the rise.

Thanks to Beat My Day for the find!

Killmode vs. Right Here Right Now (CZT’s A Soccer Hurdle Bootleg) – Cazzette

http://www.noiseyoushouldhear.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/New-Years-Eve-Concerts-575x3831-465x310.jpg

The Swedish duo of Alexander Björklund and Sebastian Furrer aka Cazzette, have been making a lot of noise recently and they have certainly came to prominence in the EDM scene. For New Years’ Eve, they teamed up with Glenn Morrison, Arty, Avicii, and Swanky Tunes to provide one of the biggest concerts during New Years (stream/dl the sets here). Cazzette dropped huge mixes such as their own remix of Titanium, Antidote by Swedish House Mafia and Knife Party, and their own remix of Levels at midnight. To me, this mix with Right Here Right Now also stood out. I love the drop and main beat of this song. By incorporating a line we all know (“right here right now”), it helps the buildup of the song even more and transitions well into the drop. Give this song a listen and be sure to check out more Cazzette. 2012 could be a huge year for them!!!

Live Sets: Avicii, Arty, Cazzette & Swanky Tunes @ Pier 94

Great uplifting progressive new track Avicii premiered in its entirety during the NYE set

December 31st is a highly celebrated night all around the world and what better way to bring in the new year then with some top notch DJs.  Although I may not love Avicii’s management I can’t deny that he is a very talented yet young producer that I listen to almost on a daily basis.  Avicii has dropped hit after hit and I’m sure everyone enjoyed his set on New Years.  I also have yet to hear bad things about Arty, sound like he might have taken the show.  Listen to each DJ’s full set after the jump, check the tracklists and voice out in the comments if you think Avicii’s set lived up to his hype or if Arty stole the show.  Don’t forget about Cazzette and Swanky Tunes, although I haven’t given their full sets a listen yet I’ve heard nothing but good things from Swedish and Russian DJs.  Have an amazing New Year!
