We recently received a message from Jonathan Holman, BenniB’s manager, and it’s a good thing he reached out to us because this Seattle native certainly deserves the spotlight. BenniB has been working with Black Diamond who is a producing artist who works with Logic and Uno Hype. Below, you can listen to BenniB’s debut mixtape/album titled Journal of a Journey, which was released November 1st. He’s got a nice flow that sometimes reminds me of Kid CuDi (like in I Won’t Crash) and Mac Miller (in Money Tantrum) and Black Diamond does a solid job with the beats. Hit the Jump for a music video of “Not About the Fame” and also don’t forget to follow BenniB on twitter/facebook (links posted below)!
“Money Tantrum” was produced by Black Diamond, sampling “Money Grabber” by Fitz & The Tantrums.

“I Won’t Crash” – BenniB’s flow sounds kind of like Kid Cudi in my opinion, especially on this track.

“Singin’ In The Rain” is also produced by Black Diamond, sampling James Morrison’s “Please Don’t Stop the Rain.” I can’t get enough of the hook and the instrumental!
