Attention, if you enjoy being that guy who likes to say “I knew this artist before he went big.” Like and follow Mezzo on any social media network you can because that’s going to happen fast. Matt Rogers is a 19 year old producer out of Lincoln, MA who was previously under the artist name Mr. Rogers Productions. However, as he is progressing with original productions he recently changed his name to Mezzo. In Mezzo’s debut house production, he took the vocals from “Calling” and made his own production in a relative minor to give a more “somber” feel. Mezzo usually focuses on a bass-driven electro house sound, but this track is more melodic with a progressive house vibe. Regardless, the song was amazing. I cannot wait to see what he releases because from his first original production you can see Mezzo has immense potential. As for the bonus, Mezzo released a electro house DJ set showcasing some of his unreleased tracks which will be on his new Electro-House EP “Theory of Mind” which will be released this fall.
