Theophilus London ft. Menahan Street Band – “Rio”

rio

Haven’t heard from Theophilus London in a minute so I was excited to see that he let loose a new offering today titled “Rio.” “Rio” features Menahan Street Band and was produced by Thomas Brenneck. “Rio” definitely has its island influences infused in the uplifting instrumentals. Theophilus London’s smooth vocals over the Thomas Brenneck production make this one a chill release. Stream “Rio” below and cop it on iTunes April 16.

r.i.p.-g-mix

Young Jeezy recruited Snoop Dogg (not Lion?), Too $hort, and E-40 for the G-mix take on his hit single “R.I.P.”  Listening to Snoop flow effortlessly over Jeezy’s banger really makes me wonder why he took the reggae root on his forthcoming album. Play this one loud in the whip. Stream the G Mix below and hit “Read More” to check out the official remix to “R.I.P” featuring Chris Brown, Kendrick Lamar, & Y.G. as well.

Fall Out Boy ft. Big Sean – “The Mighty Fall”

fall-out-boy-save-rock-and-roll

Fall Out Boy let loose their new rap influenced single featuring G.O.O.D. Music’s own Big Sean titled “The Mighty Fall.” Big Sean recently released his new street single featuring Common titled “Switch Up,” and Fall Out Boy let go the 2 Chainz remix to their past single, “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up).” Sean Don and Fall Out ‘Boi’ deliver an interesting single with “The Mighty Fall.” The bells, chimes, backing drums, guitar riffs, and grimey vocals from Fall Out Boy’s lead singer, Patrick Stump, make this one a loud and unique release. Stream Fall Out Boy’s “The Mighty Fall” featuring Big Sean below and hit “Read More” to listen to Fall Out Boy’s collaboration with Elton John “Save Rock and Roll.” Both “The Mighty Fall” and the album titled single, “Save Rock and Roll” will be featuring on Fall Out Boy’s forthcoming project, Save Rock and Roll, due out April 15.

Outasight – “Drifting Away” & “Remember Me”

outasight

NY artist, Outasight, let go two leftover tracks from his debut album, Nights Like These. “Drifting Away” and “Remember Me” are two solid offerings with laid back vibes. Though poppy, both tracks are worth a listen. “Drifting Away” was produced by Mike Cash while “Remember Me” was produced by DJ Camper. “Drifting Away” is backed by heavy drums and mellow guitar chords. “Remember Me” is a more spacey jam that gives off a sing along vibe though it still remains gloomy during the verses and the breakdown. Stream Outasight’s previously unreleased track “Drifting Away” below and “Remember Me” after the jump.
