The original ‘Written In The Stars’ had been featured on Tinie Tempah’s debut album Disc-Overy and included a hook by Eric Turner. As you may know, ‘Written in the Stars’ turned out to be a huge hit and went platinum last year. Eric Turner took the time to record a solo version of Tinie Tempah’s hit ‘Written in the Stars’ with sung verses. Shout out to idolator for the premiere. Also check the bonus track below that features Lupe Fiasco & Tinie Tempah, it may not be the CDQ, but it definitely sounds promising (updated with CDQ stream below). Actually Tinie and I wrote it together for him… there were never any sung verses on it. I was supposed to sing some different words in the end of the hook which never happened cause everyone except for me got “demoitis”. this version I wrote after but it felt very natural writing it…In some way i think the response to the song def effected how i wrote this version. much luv, e
My apologies Eric. I thought from the video you had recorded with Tinie talking about the track on idolator, that it was originally meant to be recorded for yourself. I misinterpreted the video, but either way the solo version came out great. Keep up the good work!
