Ok, I have to admit that the first time I listened to T.I’s new mixtape F*ck Da City Up fully was last night.  The Dr. Dre collaboration joint stood out on T.I’s project, especially since I had recognized the beat from somewhere else.  The song that I had recognized the beat from was ‘Mama Told Me’ off of Wale’s debut album.  Their were slight similarities between the two tracks, but after doing further research I realized that Popped Off’s exact beat was also used in Amerie’s ‘More Than Love’.  Either way, Dr. Dre and T.I. killed their verses and the chorus is not too shabby also.  I highly recommend giving this song a listen and checking out T.I.’s latest offering F*ck Up Da City here.
