Hit-Boy’s debut mixtape, HITstory, really exceeded my expectations; this dude can RAP. Maybe my expectations should have been higher since Kanye signed him to GOOD Music, but ever since he signed 2 Chainz I think my low expectations are understandable. But as I said before, contrary to what I expected, Hit-Boy’s debut was a pleasant surprise. “Option”, a collaboration with fellow GOOD Music member Big Sean, was one of the highlight tracks on the tape. Sean kills his verse (as usual) , Hit-Boy shines, and the beat is FIRE. Blast this one next time you’re getting twisted.
