Two weeks ago Hit-Boy released his debut project as a rapper and it received some criticism. The tape definitely left me wanting more and showed me that Hit-Boy has a lot of potential as an artist. There are some forgetful tracks on HITstory, but overral the mixtape is worth the download considering it has its standout tracks and it serves as his debut. He has a lot to offer and you can hear that through his raps and eclectic flows throughout the tape (specifically on the Sean Don collab “Option”). Hit-Boy got features from Big Sean, KiD CuDi, Bun B, John Legend and more on the mixtape.
