Owl City & Carly Rae Jepsen – Good Time (Sharkf3ng Remix)
After a long day I decided to look through our submissions and as I continually grew upset filtering through the hay, I finally found the needle in the haystack. Ryan Feng, (AKA Sharkf3ng) is a 17-year-old producer from Thomas Jefferson High School in Alexandria, Virginia who has been producing electronic music since the start of high school. His influences include both Skrillex and Porter Robinson due to their success starting with a laptop and music production software. Sharkf3ng uses the vocals of both Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen and creates his own instrumental taking the relaxed song into a nice progressive house tune which easily could become a back to school anthem.
