I saw this video last night and didn’t have time to put it up, but I’ve been thinking about how dope it is all day today so I had to post it.. Perrion grew up in Harlem and has been rapping since age 8, learned how to play the drums when he was 13, and got signed to Universal Records along with his brother when he was only 14 years old. This video is for “Rambling” from his newest mixtape Le Bourgeon, which you can download Here. His musical style falls somewhere in the middle of Odd Future and Tayyib Ali. Every song on the mixtape is produced by Perrion himself, which is very unique for an upcoming rapper of this generation. There’s live drums on pretty much every song on the tape, which adds such a cool vibe to the songs. The piano-driven beat behind “Rambling” is sick and like nothing I’ve ever heard before. Perrion’s flow and voice are especially dope; this guy has no weak points.
