I am am not too fond of different vocals being layered over each other, but The White Panda make it work to an extent on their new track “Wallphones”. They sampled Maroon 5 and Sultan & Ned Shepard on the mash up. I do believe that two vocals together can get annoying, but the song picks up after Adam Levine’s catchy chorus from “Payphone”. It is somewhat promising, but at the same time is nothing special. The White Panda will be performing at Electric Zoo in NYC towards the end of the Summer and will be announcing more tour dates soon.
