Beirut- “Vagabond” Music Video

Beirut is one of my favorite bands of all time. I haven’t done an ‘Indie Bands You Should Know’ on them yet, but I definitely will next weekend (when I don’t have to do a report on a 400 page book I forgot to read). Zach Condon, the voice and songwriter of Beirut, is a musical genius, and I don’t use that word lightly. He brings together classical and indie to make truly unique and awesome music. This videos for their song “Vagabond” off The Rip Tide, Beirut’s newest album that came out last August. It’s a WWII era video of a big band dance, shot in Brooklyn (hipsters…).  Take a listen.
