This new Lupe mixtape was needed in the game right now. After Lasers dropped I didn’t know what to except from the Cool Young Lu, but then I went back and listened to his first two albums that were near classic in my opinion. Lu’s collab with Bassnectar also proved to me that Lupe can definitely still rap. Lupe’s samples alone on this mixtape make it worth listen. Artists that are sampled on this tape include Skrillex, Nero, Bassnectar, Kaskade, Ellie Goulding, Justice, M83, The Glitch Mob, Sebastian, and John Coltrane.
